What are cookies?
Cookies are text files and numbers that contain small amounts of information that can be sent to the User's device (computer, smartphone, tablet ...) when he visits our Website. Although the cookies are sent to a device, they are not able to access personal information or transmit viruses, they only track the navigation on the Web page. What are Web Beacons?
Web beacons (also called “clear gifs”) are tiny graphics with a unique identifier, similar in function to cookies. Our website and our email messages also contain web beacons that help us deliver cookies, count users who have visited the website, and gather usage and performance data. The analysis gathered helps us improve the effectiveness of content and format of our websites and email communications.
Cookies are useful because they allow you to navigate more easily between different pages, remember your preferences and we use them to improve your online experience. We currently use session cookies, as well as technical, personalization, analysis and advertising cookies. The latter allow the management of the advertising spaces that appear on the Web based on criteria such as the content or frequency of the ads. Arcensus does not share such cookie based information with third parties. The cookie gathers information anonymously, which means that it cannot be linked back to the user. It collects data such as the number of visitors who have used Arcensus´ Website, where the Users arrive from the Website and what pages they have visited.
