With over 20 years of experience in the healthcare sector, specializing in pharmaceuticals and diagnostic testing, Dr. Popa brings a wealth of strategic leadership and commercial expertise to the organization.

As healthcare increasingly moves toward prevention, Dr. Popa’s leadership will strengthen our mission to make genetics central to global healthcare advancement.
In his new role, Dr. Popa will drive business development and commercial operations, focusing on expanding market reach and accelerating growth across key global regions. He will champion the clinical utility of Whole Genome Sequencing (WGS) and Whole Exome Sequencing (WES) to advance the field of personalized medicine, ultimately enabling physicians to improve patient outcomes through enhanced genetic insights.
Dr. Popa, a trained medical doctor with an Executive MBA, has gained extensive experience in key commercial and executive positions at Ipsen, Medicover, and AOP Health, where he demonstrated a commitment to innovation, patient-centric approaches, and team development. Notably, he managed multi-million dollar operations, launched portfolios in oncology, intensive care, endocrinology, neurology, and molecular genetics, and consistently achieved double-digit growth.
We also extend our sincere appreciation to Dr. Shivendra Kishore for his invaluable contributions. Dr. Kishore has been instrumental in advancing Arcensus’s development which has set a strong foundation for Arcensus’s next phase of growth, and we wish him every success in his future endeavours.
